That lad came on for Leicester last night was only 15. Wasn't even allowed to wear a sponsors logo on his shirt.
Got me wondering who our youngest player to turn out for us in the League is?

Woodford was 15 and our youngest ever.

Doherty, Brown and Evans were 16 (ordered youngest to eldest). Doherty is the youngest to ever start a match for us.

Hicks, Cochrane, Tinubu and Townsend-West were 17.

Alexandrou and Williams were 18.

Are we just talking about football league.

I think Boyd was 17 when he debuted for us. But that would've been in the conference or trophy etc. (Not saying he is the youngest but you haven't put him in the 17 category, so guess you only looking at football league records)

Also Ben Wilmot was only 17 or 18 I think, that was EFL

Those who were 15 or 16 I know from when they made their debuts this season.

The 17 year olds are from the board om the wall at our Academy, which gives the ages of our youth players when they made their first team debuts. Wilmot was about a month shy of being 18 I think, unsure on Boyd.

Max Woodford is the youngest senior player ever, though this was in the EFL Trophy - https://www.boroguide.co.uk/players/1112/#:~:text=Date%20of%20Birth%3A%2005%2D05,our%20youngest%2Dever%20senior%20player.

Makise Evans made a couple of sub appearances in the L2 promotion-winning season but not sure if there's someone younger.
