Assuming we have the budget do we get rid of 3 or 4 and sign similar numbers?

Or do we get rid of 7-8?

And given our playing style and management team, does it matter? Or are we destined to be a mediocre L1 team at best either way*

(*unless we get really lucky and a striker has a long purple patch and bangs in 20+ league goals out of the blue)

I don't think it matters, we play a conservative style, we're usually tight at the back, so if I was Phil I might be tempted to save my money.

Given it's on the record about the players wanting Revs as gaffer etc., it wouldn't make sense to have a huge clearout in the summer IMO.

In contract
Kemp Phillips, Roberts ,Simpson,Pidge, TAH., Freestone

Out of contract
LJW,,,List, JFC ,Pressley& Goode but we have ,1 yr options on both .

Not Sure
Butler, Thompson ,Smith, Freeman ,Sweeney,Reid, White but think perhaps all out

Appere, Young perhaps in
Edwards no idea, could have been short term deal

I have no clue so I'm ignoring current contract issues and any players wanting out.

I assume every player is available to retain and willing to stay (if the offer is right).

We have good quality strikers. We just don't give them anythng to strike.
I suspect somebody grander than us might well wave a chequebook in the direction of buying Kemp.
