Is he likely to play first team football this season?

Isn't he out of contract in the summer?

Think yes and sadly we would be mad to offer new contract imo.

His age and injury record means he is unlikely to get many better offers than a short term deal with us.
Can't see many clubs, even at L2 level throwing him a 2 season deal.
And he kinda owes us, altho' I appreciate loyalty is not a value in modern football. Maybe if he feels valued and looked after he'll take a reduced salary season long deal with decent pay as you play bonuses.
But he will have a mortgage to pay, so he'll probably follow the money.

I'd only keep him on a pay-as-you-play deal but likely moving on. Sadly a player with lots of ability that's made of glass.

We kept hold of Listy, i'm hoping he gets another year if he's up to the level

But can we afford to have any obvious injury prone players on the books , sounds brutal I know ?

We have plenty on the books don't we? And Revs signed a couple of them

No its not brutal in the past we have taken on injury prone players and sometimes we
have had a result, but we as a club cannot afford a big squad and that has happened this season with players
out for weeks.

I'd keep Charlie Goode, very fragile/unlucky.
I'd also keep Edwards, again very fragile/unlucky.
Butler has missed 13 games this season I think, no clamour to replace him.

If he serves up a few aces late in the season, he might make a podium finish
