Team news is out, Rocky will not be happy.
Butler Sweeney Pidge Freeman across the back. Good to see Butler starting.
Hanlan and Reid start.
Roberts King Phillips and Louis T
Edwards on the bench. And Kemp. Looks like we've gone with B,S & P...
442 or 433 with Roberts and Reid either side of Hanlan.

Lovely stuff, one win away from 50 points which is most likely enough to be in L1 next season.

A real game of two halves. I quite enjoyed the second half, should have had more than one.

I only watched the second half. Looked like we had our wheatabix this morning. Philips so strong in the middle, and Reid looked decent.
Thought the chance Roberts scuffed was shocking, should have smashed it instead of taking a touch.
Revell again ole ole etc.

I got back towards the end of the first half, just in time to hear the commentator say neither side had had a shot, let alone one on target, with only one corner too.
Second half we should have scored four or five. Tidy goal for Reid, fairly reminiscent of the one he got there last season. Hanlan missed two sitters, one after great work from Reid and one after good work by himself, and Roberts missed two really good chances too, another after great work by Reid.
Never looked threatened by Cambridge, who I expected much more from. That is now four wins on the spin at their place.

Be glad you missed the first half. That was one of the worst halves of football I have ever seen, both looked like pub teams.
Second half thankfully was an improvement, against a woeful Cambridge side.

I bet the "gerritforward" brigade enjoyed the first half. Old school route one. Oh, they were bored you say...
Sometimes your opponent sets the tone and you've got to go head-to-head with them. We stood firm in the first half, and earned the chance (i.e. space) to play our sharper passing game in the second.
Great end tonight. Loved being with so many happy Boro!

Another scintillating display of Revball tonight...
Edit 43 mins and not a single shot on or off target for either side. Unbelievably shit even by his entertainment standards.

We have nullified their threat extremely well.
Sadly we have also nullified our own.
Two awful sides, both scared of the ball, playing very dull football.

Re: Match Thread

That last half hour we were decent.
Roberts and Reid creating chances for Hanlan to miss.
Phillips playing farther forward, dictating a higher tempo.
Good to have Butler back.
Sweeney didn't really put a foot wrong either so fair play to him after his last two games.
Cambridge looked woeful all 90.

Lots of firepower on the bench and no more Freestone at LB thank god. COYB

One of the biggest errors of recruitment was not getting a lb in.
Not got much faith in that lineup, but hopefully they'll prove me wrong.

Yeah, because Reid is sooo much better wide left than Edwards...
And who needs a decent no.10 who scores most of our goals starting anyway.
