Wiil the unthinkable happen. Cambridge take 6 points off us and not get relegated?

They've got 7 points from the last 15 available.
We haven't.
They can see daylight at the end of the tunnel again now.
Not looking forward to tomorrow.

"Not looking forward to tomorrow."
I am. A nice long afternoon walk along the river in the sunshine, then some tapas and cocktails, then return home and watch our match on the TV without being out in the cold, or really caring what happens as we have nothing to play for and are just waiting for this season to end.
Just take us to the summer so we can enjoy some proper warmth, and then give us some damn away PSFs this year instead of all at home or BCD (Jersey was pleasant but have seen every inch of that island now, so in truth we only had Braintree, which was an odd place and ground).

A lovely place, especially during the summer. Walk along the river, seeing the wildfowl, dippers and kingfishers, then a spot of food and drink in the sunshine on their outdoor terrace overlooking the river and mill, and walk back home. Delightful.

I thought for a few seconds you were walking alonside the River Cam...making a day of it.
Agreed, we have little to play for as far as the league table is concerned but....this is Cambridge we're talking about.
I'll be there just as tense as if we were top or bottom of the league. From my point of view its one of the teams I dread losing against...not that the play off semi final in 2009 has anything to do with it ;-).

I too assumed he was having a day out in Cambridge but coming home to watch the game rather than give them any money.

What would be the point in going to Cambridge but not attending? Odd behaviour.
I neither like nor dislike them, and don't view it as a rivalry, so it is like any other game. I would much sooner beat Northampton, or very much Orient.

Nice city is Cambridge. You might want to spend some time around the city, catch up with some Boro friends before match but not attend the game itself. Sounds alright to me.

I'm planning on enjoying my day too. It's going to be a sunny warm day here and nature has woken back up.
I've got a barn wall stone wall to do some repointing on, which I've tried once before. It went badly. It's a learning process but cathartic.
It's the evening bit that bothers me.
Enjoy your walk

Nowt to be bothered about, our season is done and we are safe (if the absolute unthinkable does happen then lots of BC users make lots of money from Bet365), and Cambridge aren't a rival or a derby match, so meh.
Tonight is the continuation of how I have approached matches for weeks now, just rolling up with no enthusiasm or expectations, purely there because I buy a ST every year. We rarely have a season with nothing on the line well before it ends so it is a peculiar feeling, but (overall results and league standing aside) Revs and the team really aren't helping with the dull stuff they are dishing up.
It really does show how much our crowds have grown in recent times that we are averaging about 4k for the season for just the second time ever, because I would be struggling to find the will to fork out 20 notes each game right now, if needing to pay on a per match basis.

I've attended five games since Rotherham away and not seen us lose, dunno what everyone's moaning about.

I DO fork out the £22 each time, but mainly because it feels like I’m in thrall to some sort of cult, a bad habit that has to be fed, rather than any expectations of witnessing glory.

They will be far more motivated to win than us. It is a winnable important game for them where a win will mean a lot more for them than us. For us it'll subconsciously be a game that doesn't matter if we win or not and against a side below us so will be thinking can get away with just doing the minimum etc.
It's the trouble with being a midtable side and nothing to play for.
I'd take a draw. But hopefully we are just better so win anyway ,😁

Sweepy - I asked you this question in another place. Google is not my friend. Are there dockless e-bikes in Cambridge? And can you park them near the ground? I am looking at my transport options as time is tight…
