Huddersfield are a promotion-chasing team with a much bigger budget. Not terribly surprising.
Would be criminal to let a really poor Cambridge team do the double over us on Tuesday though.

No idea how to break a team down. Ponderous in midfield. Zero movement up top as usual. So easy to defend against

Think Huddersfield are just a better team to be honest
What gripes me is our pathetic set pieces.
Harv is a terrible crosser of the ball, but when the planets align and he gets one in the right spot, it’s a shitty back stick floater with zero pace on it, that is either dealt with by the defender or the keeper

Got Sweeney to gift them a goal or two every other game now as well.

Only 5 clubs have shipped fewer goals than us.
So our GPG (against) ratio is pretty good and I'd wager the GPG difference between when Sweeney plays and when he doesn't is marginal.
Yes he makes mistakes, but Goode has legs made of Monster Munch so needs to be used sparingly, and Freestone is needed at FB and Nathan wanted out.

I'd love to know this and how many goals can be directly attributed to him. He's a managers nightmare IMO, the kind of player whos errors get you sacked long term.

Direct attribution is almost impossible to determine accurately. Too many other variable and subjective factors.
Was he left one on one, did someone else.lose their man leaving him up against a player he wasnt expe ting to cover, were we chasing the game and therefore needing to take risks, was he up against better attacking players?
Edit: Damn I sound like I'm defending Sweeney over Goode, I'm not. I prefer Charlie too...

11 league games played, four clean sheets, 13 conceded (six of them in the three games against Wrexham and Huddersfield).
Goode has played 10 league games, with three clean sheets and 11 conceded.
So basically identical.
Edit: And as Sev says, Goode has made his fair share of mistakes too, some have led to goals and some haven't, but those which have you and others will gloss over because you don't have an agenda against as you do with Sweeney (who absolutely was at fault for both goals today).

I'd argue Cooper was at fault for the second as he was rooted to his line, with the scorer only about 4 yards out.

I'd argue it's hard for him to come and claim a ball when our whole team is basically camped in our 18 yard box.

I’d suggest the other 10 players and how we perform are a bigger issue. If we can’t keep the ball or sustain an attack then it’s inevitable a mistake will be made - more often than not be one of the back 3/4/5. Th
