Job done 3 points. Revs shows the doubts who's boss. Can't beat a bit of Big A !

He’s so confident under pressure that he loses games on purpose to build the pressure up for the next game.

Let’s hope a bigger club doesn’t come in to poach Revs.

Not to worry, we could take on Scott Lindsay...he's doing well at plastic MK.

If Shrews had had even a couple of inches of greater accuracy they would very much have beaten ‘Big A’! Useless though they were, at least they cracked off a couple of shots. We won that one by default, not because Big A and his tactics outclassed the opposition.

We also hit the post, and created a couple of good chances in both halves.
Perhaps a little more cautious towards the end as were only 1 up, but i thought we didn't look overly troubled.
Go Revs!

I love how when we lose it is all the fault of the manager, but when we win it is nothing do with them, and is pure luck and the other team not being good enough.

Well on this occasion it was. I haven’t made any comment about Revs’s role in today’s match, only that there wasn’t much to tell between the quality on display, the Shrews hit the post twice (and us once of course) and we only got a goal courtesy of them scoring for us. That’s what happened.

Great result, well done the lads. After some poor games we needed this. Many thanks to the Boro faithful who made the trip there...they deserved that win. Have a safe journey home.

Nice bit of sunbathing in Shrewsbury, and a win too. What's not to like?!
Performance... we did enough.

Bit of a common theme that we were all over them like a rash in the first half whilst not getting anything on target, then when they pushed on strong in the second half we kept playing the exact same way until 80+ minutes.
At the end of the day this time round we did get on the score sheet early on so it didn't matter.

Yep. Good to win and I’ll take the points however they come, but no real intent on display and we only won because Shrews shot themselves in the foot. I’d much prefer us to be dominating the game and looking dangerous when on the offensive, but you can’t have everything.

A win away is always welcome. Edwards was getting a lot of positive comment from Watkins and Neil on the wireless.
A rare good January signing?

Yes he was, and I’d agree with their assessment that he is ‘a breath of fresh air’ for us.

Unlike Reid. WTF has happened to him? Lost loads of pace. Was again 2nd to the ball after a head start. Should have also scored 2nd half.
