After a few years of decline, this year’s effort has hit rock bottom.
My idea is what I’ve seen at some other grounds. £1 for a tennis ball with a number on it. At half time everyone throws their ball towards the centre circle. One nearest the kick off spot is the winner.
Much better than fat people failing to kick a ball into the a bin

At least get some people with a basic grasp of physics to do it.
Drilling the ball with a horizontal trajectory is not going to go into a small horizontal circle.
Need to chip/lob the ball high, so that it drops vertically into the holes
