Revs is tactically clueless and taking us nowhere
Views: 797
This is what I heard many fans saying as they were walking out of the ground.
They also said he takes us one step forward and one step back, the team should not be frightened to attack teams, especially ones below us.

I do hope Revs is doing his own thing now and not being influenced too much by Banfield. It was good to have a mentor type figure when first learning on the job but I think he is now sufficiently experienced to be his own man and just have a coaching team below him, not an advisor.

Unless Revs is asking for options /ideas from Banfield then that would be his choice. However, if Revs is being steered by Banfield almost against his will then it might be time for Revs to be his own man. With PW's reputation, he'll want to see some value in paying Banfield his salary so I guess he must have quite a bit of influence.

Would have seen that out comfortably if it wasn’t for an individual error, from a player it’s time to move on from.
Subs once again given no time to grow into the game.
Classy finish from Kemp and Kane Smith MOTM.

Turned into prime Iniesta and played a lovely pass to a blue shirt.

Let's see what the new boys have got.

Hanlon looked decent enough with some lovely touches. Edward’s not for me. Thought he contributed nothing all game. Deano raved about him after the game, but didn’t see it myself

I thought Appere was dreadful last week. I know they all were but Hanlan looked so much better when he came on. I know Appere has his strengths but he’s just so incredibly slow!

I'm prepared to give Appere a pass for recent performances, he'll still be getting back to full fitness after a long lay off. Hopefully this setback isn't too bad.

Front 4 are often static which gives the midfield nothing to pass to. Would liked to have seen Edwards take on the fullback a lot more. Hanlan is so 1 footed it's unreal. Should have used his left when through. And why oh why do we bring EVERUONE back to defend set pieces. We have to leave 1 player upfield ffs

The Peterborough number7 ran forward at speed every time he got the ball. Oh to have a player that would do that.

By far the worst thing we do tactically. Absolutely maddening.

We do far worse things than that, and I am pretty satisfied overall. Weird thing to focus on!

I really thought we looked the better team for most of that and that after we bad scored I believed we would win. But nobody, including me, foresaw Jordan Roberts having maybe 5 or 6 clear passes to a Boro shirt but instead playing a perfect pass to a Peterborough player who made the most of his good fortune and within 3 or 4 passes had caused a goal. I’m convinced that if that hadn’t happened we would’ve held on. Infuriating. A totally needless and unforced error.

We got caught on the break too often 2nd half. I think a better team would have punished us.
