Can we teach the players how to take a corner most didn't even get to the first post. These are supposedly professional footballers. Lol my arse. Also did we have any players in midfield last night? That was the worst performance I have ever seen from boro and I have been a supporter since we was in the diadora league.

We have been poor at set pieces all season. Including free kicks around the edge of the box. They don't instil confidence in me when we have a set piece. Some of them should maybe take up rugby!!

Really not good I admit but glad was not there if this was our so called worst ever performance.Surely in the hundreds of games we have played since the Diadora days there are many worst games ?

Woking at home, we lost 0-4 and Graz scored against us in first minute or so I seem to recall - not a good day

Virtually the whole 2019/20 season (GWgenius's 4-0 win at Cambridge aside) and some of the performances under Tisdale.

Kettering away on Boxing Day 2002 was our worst-ever performance.

I'll see your Kettering and raise you a Canvey Island at home, Tuesday night December time around 2006, lost 4-1
I also remember a dire game in which Dwayne Plummer played centre mid and didn't get a touch of the ball until about the 43rd minute

I know we cannot possibly say it because everything was amazing and we played only incredible football, every player was breathtaking, and we won every game under him, but there were some much worse showings under Evans (and every other manager) too.

We had a 4 or 5 goal home tonking against Colchester, I recall, under GW. Football so bad it is one of only two games ever that I’ve left early (both under GW).

Rochdale away was as bad as anything Smith or Sheringham managed to cook up

I was the driver to that one too, and we only arrived not long before KO, so that was a fun round-trip.

That reminds me a Kingstonian away game (back before AFC Wimbledon stole their ground), we got stuck in traffic, missed kick off including kingstonian scoring after about 3 minutes and then nothing else happened and we lost
Happy times
edit: missed more of the game than i thought, 14th minute: http://kingstonian.net/report.jsp?19981999/StevenaH
And Chris Taylor saved a pen

Taylor, who had just come back after going up for a corner, made another superb save, diving to his right, to keep Stevenage in with a shout.
You don't see enough keepers going up for corners when losing a routine league game 1 month into the season these days.
