Stevenage FC 🔴⚪ on X: "Today's Boro' lineup! 🔥 https://t.co/Uf0YExgMBE" / X https://search.app/U7YbMyHksEDTzM33A
Injury wise seems down to bare bones, assume Hanlan not signed in time.

15 minute spell before half time was some of the best football I remember seeing from Boro. Appere as a clever, strong and mobile focal point (unsurprisingly) makes a massive difference.
Onwards and upwards!

The first half at Wrexham was amazing ( I need to calm down ) , but as we walked to the concourse on Tuesday they were playing a 4 non blondes song on the tannoy ‘ what’s going on’ very apt .
But today we backed it up .
Fantastic

While we're chatting about off-pitch entertainment, was anyone else loving the guy in the West who was full-on skanking after each goal? If it is any of you folk... I doff my cap ;-)

That's the fella. While my eyesight isn't the best, looked like kids were joining in too :-) Brilliant! Edit: even better that it was probably winding the Exeter bench up something rotten!

Our first win against them for 14 games since a 3-1 win in April 2018 with all three scored by one Alex Revell.

Not gonna lie I wanted Revs out 2 weeks ago but now I'm very much in the "Revs In" camp!
What a gaffa we have here, nice one Wallace for not listening to us clowns!

I wanted us to look for alternatives when we were dull and shit and had two easy games against Crawley and Northampton coming up. Fortunately we won the Northampton game with two late goals, Crawley got called off I think and then we seemed to get a bit better but still on and off. Now we have found some better form at last and the players look like they might know what they're doing.

That was when the season could have gone in either direction. We were all trying to read the runes* - nobody could say for sure how things would progress. We can all be happy it's gone very well since ;-) Revs is a stand-up guy who loves the club and our fans. That's worth a lot in an industry full of mercenaries!
[*Obvs while defensive organisation has remained *superb* under Revs, we couldn't ignore the lack of goals. Was style, tactics or selection to blame? My sense was that we had a group of strikers lacking in confidence, and an injury to our preferred centre forward - things that would probably right themselves in time. Reality is our improvement is due to many factors! But we'll hit tougher times again soon enough, and we'll continue to ask the same questions of the manager!]

Tough crowd to please LOL!
Last season we were higher up the table, but struggling for form. Also watching Vadaine Oliver.
This season we've got momentum, and now we're playing great stuff. Squad is clearly superior. Got to credit Revs for the clear improvements. Playoffs might be a stretch too far, but...

For crying out loud! How is this reaction any different to those reacting the other way after a run of bad results?
I was definitely in the Revell Out group having spent a lot of money watching dire games where we weren’t even creating chances against very weak opponents. There comes a point where enough is enough.
I’m delighted we’ve had a few good results but only 3 weeks ago people were complaining about Revell & how he had no idea how to manage games, substitutions, etc.
I’d much rather stick with Revell if he can consistently get results but, more importantly, performances. I don’t mind losing every now & then if I’m entertained.

Good player though he is, Freeman's no fullback! Goes to show what a specialist position it is. He's slow to spot danger, and was frequently late in stepping up in line with Pidge and Sweens. Better teams will catch us out.

I thought that but then he doesn't seem to have got a first yellow yet? I can't remember if he got booked first half. Freeman did, King did and Reid did. Not sure why I thought Freestone did, maybe it was the Reid one, as they both blocked the free kick.

I watched on TV, Freestone stood over it (closer than Reid was to the ball) and the ref was looking at Freestone.
I might be wrong. But I was 100% it was Freestone.

Looked like Reid from the North, and Reid got booked.
Although it also looked like their player smashed it at him almost as soon as the FK was given, intentionally trying to get him booked despite him having no time to move away. I called the ref names as a result, which he fully deserved as he was a useless twat for the entire match.

Seriously though that is exactly the sort of game we would have fucked up in recent years. Have to say Revell looks like he really is delivering now with both the results and the enjoyment level.
