All Hail King Revs

Is what I imagine a lot of people will be saying on the way out tonight. What I've been saying all season.
Two superb away wins.

We all know the sinkhole of negativity will be back as soon as we deign to lose a game.

Tbf the only time you've guaranteed we wouldn't be relegated and then we were, we then got unrelegated.

So we didn't get relegated ;).
(I also said the same when Evans came in and people were planning trips to Braintree and the like, and again throughout this season).
When we are actually going to be relegated I will let you all know.

Coming good and what a job he's taken on, proving he can hack it with the best of em.
His Revs 1 legacy and following on from Steve Evans success....what a monumental task.
A brave soul to take that on.
Well done Revs.

I probably get to see about half our games now, that's the best first 45 in a long, long time, and the second 45 was damn fine too.
Eli King and Kemp stood out for me, so intelligent. I'd buy King on the back of that performance alone. If he can produce 75% of that level most weeks he'd be a standout player in our midfield.
Freestone and Kane had bloody solid games too, as did Pidge and Sweeney.
Wrexham goalie is gonna cost them promotion if they aren't careful. No wonder Arsenal were happy to let him go.

I've felt that a replacement for Gilbey has been wanting for a while as having a ropey forward line is par for the course and the defence is great when they aren't all out, maybe King can step up.

THREE big away wins on the spin, including beating an Orient side who are flying, to set up our QF tie with Brum.
Seven unbeaten away in all comps now, scoring seven and conceding two.

A fitter group to choose from now and Revs & Co are getting the tactics sorted and the confidence in the play is there for all to see.
