Six consecutive away clean sheets

Never in our history have we kept more.
We last did so under Revs in 2021. Prior to that it was 1992 in the Diadora League Div 1.
Incredible.

Defence are stellar. Stats are like Mourino's Chelsea! This was surely the reason for Revs being given the permanent role: continuity of defensive structure. Risk that someone else might undo Evans' work?
For me Revs continues to do well in a tough league. We're not going to change manager, but if we did it'd represent an almighty gamble.

In respect of the attack, there isn't much Revs can do if his strikers are going to fluff their lines when the chances come our way – as they did at Barnsley. And of course the forwards are no doubt banging them in on the training ground, so...

Just reminded me I haven't watched the highlights yet to see what you were so irritated about yesterday with regards to the missed chances.

We should have had three, at least. I thought this was our best performance of the season – we restricted a top end side to a single shot on target. In fact it took a wicked deflection, and needed an excellent save from Murph to keep it out.
We showed more and more self belief going forward as the game wore on. Goalscorers don't become non-scorers just like that; I'm inclined to think the lack of clear-cut chances in recent games perhaps make the strikers snatch at them. List, Reid and Young should all have done better. But overall I thought we were terrific. Hard to pick anyone out after a performance like that, but Goode was exceptional ( yes, Nathan has had an outstanding season, but Charlie's long throw and presence at set pieces add another dimension), King did great when he came on and Freestone had his best game for us.
