We need to build the team round Kemp in the 10 position. One of the few players we have that looks to play.
Once again the cup games are so much more entertaining than the league as we don't have to watch Pidge trying to playmaker every attack

And Louis Appere showing why I have been longing gor his return all season.
Could have taken a shot sooner (lack of match sharpness and confidence likely a factor), but was brilliant covering defending, and he has shown he is a threat on three occasions on that half.

I thought Goode was decent, and impressed with Appere too. Make some good runs, and I'd like to see him in a front 2 with either Reid or List. Not a bad performance.
Pleased Taye is getting some game time too.
An enjoyable evening all in all. Lack of proper segregation was a bit odd, and weird they were showing Emmerdale in the bar, but the pie was decent.

A few had good games.
Freestone (not a LB) did more than ok.
Smith did well, their LB Sweeney was quick and got forward a lot and made him work hard at RB.
Good to see Sweeney and Goode get a good run out, neither looked rusty. Goode could be such a solid asset at this level, shame his legs have the strength of a packet of quavers.
Louis Appére actually moved about, I'd forgotten that's what a striker is meant to do.
Disappointed in White's distribution, too many sideways and safe passes, but put himself about a bit.
