Characters

To me, we seem to be devoid of any real characters in our team or in our management structure.
Obviously spoilt with character overload with Evans and Co but who do we have to liven up the team on the pitch!
They all seem down in the mouth to me?

Edit:- get my spelling right one day!

I don't usually get involved with anything on here, but congrats you've broken my silence!

I understand that most of our fans only see one side of the club, that being on the pitch. However, I can assure you that your claim is completely false as there are definite characters within our team.

There are some within our squad that always bring laughter and humour with them when they arrive for home fixtures, which is always noticed by both fans and staff members within the vicinity.

In comparison, there are also some players that do have a giggle here and there, but are always viewed as 'locker room leaders' and will always ensure the team is ready for battle on the day.

As for Mr Steve Evans, he was a character for all of the wrong reasons and Paul Raynor was almost an exact replica of that during their tenure at SFC.

Feel free to throw your rocks back at me, but I am privileged to have the knowledge and experience to back up my claims and responses.

(By the way, for people wanting Victor Green back, you must surely want non-league football or no club to support then 😅)

Glad to hear it but sadly rarely see it.
Perhaps if they showed some character on the field of play games wouldnt seem so lack lustre.

I'm not having Steve Evans' good name dragged through the mud in this manner. The man is as honest as the day is long.

Agreed, everything about the current set up is boring from top to bottom

Bring back Victor Green as chairman (If he's still alive), Westley the gaffa with Evans as wingman

Most of the players from when Evans left are still at the club. The management team are certainly toned down compared to Evans and Raynor though!

What I'm trying to get at is either the team are a miserable bunch, unable to smile, have a joke amongst themselves or are just fed up with the way they play.
Revs keeps saying the players are characters on the training ground and in the dressing room...I've yet to see it on match day not even when they warm up. Perhaps its just me but they don't look very happy in their work.
In a normal working environment a happy workforce thrives.

Can see your point but if we had a squad of " robot" types with no charisma but we won that would do me as well.
