Sacked their gaffer and assistant.
Matt Taylor has already had to spend time away from the club for family reasons which can't have helped.
One EFL win since 22nd October.
We play them on 29th. Be nice if the "new manager bounce" could remain a statistical fallacy. New coach Lee Cattermole in interim charge.

Would be lovely to end their unbeaten run on Boxing Day and send their bellend fans home unhappy.

They are the most abnoxious set of fans I've come across in recent years. A win against that lot, if we don't achieve much else, will do for me.

I don't much like them as a club - poor atmosphere and whinge a lot, but I have to say in at least 6 trips there for matches I've never experienced any grief in or around the ground or pubs in the town.
There's a bit of rivalry because we have grown up together from our Conference days and Westley tended to rile Gareth Ainsworth a bit but he did that to a lot of opposition managers and fans.

Maybe I'm thinking of early L2 under Wezza.
Memory isn't what it used to be.
Edit: Yep 2010 onwards.

"I've never experienced any grief in or around the ground"
Many others cannot say the same, and seem to get abuse every year for daring to walk out of the ground from the away end at FT.

Maybe I've just got a lovely old face and these others you speak of have a face that needs a punch?

Plus the grieving for the two players we murdered.

I guess from that angle, I tend to agree...but...the way they turned on our team, Evans and then us inside the ground last season was awful. Especially after we were getting at their keeper for fouling one of our players off the ball. Their fans quite wrongly believed we were booing one of their defenders who went down in the box hurt. Thats the kind of whingers they are. Anyway, I still detest them!

Yep Big Steve was escorted out the ground by the stewards after that incident. Me and Bragbury106 had to make sure he wasn’t arrested by the old bill outside.

I didn't even attend and still consider the bedwetting that happened over our win there last year a highlight of Evans' spell.

I still have PTSD from the Tisdale/Barton one.
Notably two years later only three people who played that day are still at the club, and one of those is a coach.

Premier League Elliot Anderson vs Conference South Bailey Clements who looked like he'd never seen a football before.

Tramatic. Thrashed, and we didn't even play *that* badly. Thank goodness for Steve Evans.

I don't know why we bother playing Exeter City away. Sure it'd save a lot of fuel money to just give them the 3 points?
