Who's naming him Man of the Match today? His delivery into the opposing penalty area was diabolical tbf. Okay, he gets stuck in but better crossing needed for sure.

It’s the sponsors who choose the MotM. One game I was sat near them when they got asked to pick, and none of them had ever been to a match before so knew none of the players. They basically just picked a name out of a hat.

Yesterday the match sponsor was 'so and so's birthday party', parents probably been trying to stop 20 kids from running about all game.

These were proper Boro fans yesterday. They sit behind us.

What a waste of a post. Get stuck in to our young players? Odd

I agree he wasn't MOTM today, but it was hard to pick today as everybody put in a solid display without anybody standing out above the rest (Kemp would have been MOTM for me), however White put two or three phenomenal crosses in (two of which Nathan Thompson absolutely should have scored in the second half).
Some others were dreadful, but if he was consistently perfect he wouldn't be playing for us.
I find it weird how he is being scapegoated/criticised so much on here lately, the guy is still very young and developing his game, is playing regular football for the first time in his career and is doing a decent job. He also has four goals for us already!

Was Roberts for me. Don’t like a sponsor picking MOTM as they’re almost always wrong.

Harvey stuck in a tackle in front of us Phillips would have been proud of. He actually refers to it in his interview about the getting stuck in. I thought he was great today. Someone next to me even said it was his best game in a Boro shirt.

A lot of his crosses were bang on the apex of the far post and crossbar, which is precisely.where you're taught to stick an inswinger.
He was lightweight in midfield first half, got dispossessed or waltzed past too often for my liking, but his delivery was OK for me, someone needed to block the 'keeper to prevent him moving around his six yard box and claiming so many balls unimpeded.
Edit: if you want to choose.your own MOTM you can. You just need to stump.up a few hundred quid for the privilege.

As said above, if he was perfect he wouldn't be playing for us. His improvement over the past few months is reason alone to stick with him and you can see from his interview that he's increasingly relishing the physical battle and learning more from every game. He's someone to stick with - he has all the technical ability and needs to learn from league experience - players who can pass and keep the ball effectively are in short supply

He seemed to me to be sat too deep to influence the game properly. Admittedly it was never a game where we'd control midfield.

Harvey White is the most under rated player in a Boro shirt. He is a top quality player.

Hope your post was not tongue in cheek as I think good player and hoping with a bit of confidence and regular footy will now kick on.
