Blackpool have had 3 decent results in the last 4, only lost to Brum.
But their fans are far from happy with the quality on show overall. They aint that good.
Quite fancy us nicking a point.

Big pitch, fast diagonals behind our CBs... Last year's game was kryptonite for us. I'd rip an arm off for a draw

To be fair our fullbacks that day were Freeman and JFC.
And we had an excellent goal incorrectly chalked off on the stroke of halftime

It will at least liven the forum up if we lose.
Whenever we win it is deadly silent, yet after every defeat there is a stampede to emerge from the woodwork.
Those who only post to complain and call for heads after defeats, yet never post when things are going well, do my head in. And I don't just mean with Revs, they do it all the time.

I'm one of those to a point as I only comment when I see us play live or on the TV, this usually coincides with us losing đ
But I do like an awful lot of positive posts when we win that I've not seen.

FWIW I thought we were excellent today - I've had my doubts about Revell but he set the team up perfectly and made good changes. When everyone is fit we have a really good team for this level

That's just people and life in general. The news and papers are full of bad news because people aren't interested in good news.
And it's the same with England, forums and WhatsApp groups are full of people telling everyone else how they can do a better job than whoever the current manager is when we struggle, but international breaks like the last one in November I didn't get any messages at all

Bang in middle of table. Equidistant between playoffs and relegation zone. Goal difference of close to zero. So we're holding our own under a new manager, when L1 is stronger than ever. There's really not much to complain about!

I have no issue with the moaning (when justified, which at times it has been), provided people offer a contribution consistently. But when people only suddenly remember their log-in details after a couple of defeats and come on to let us know everything that is wrong, but keep totally silent after some good results, or even worse only come on to offer shit like "Revs Out", it just makes their contribution utterly pathetic IMO. And as I said above, they don't only do it to Revs, they do it to all managers. But whatever, if they don't overstep the mark they won't be deleted or banned as all contributions are welcomed, but I will certainly roll my eyes at it.
FWIW, Revell has now managed us for 20 matches in L1. He has the same points after that as GW1 and Smith (with more wins than both), and more than GW2. Only Evans has more wins and points from the opening 20. It really ain't bad.

Just seen a Southampton âfanâ with a bit of cardboard with felt tip âRussell Martin get out of our clubâ. People are fucking debased entitled wankers and deserve nothing. I didnât want Revs because I had an inkling of what might happen, and I favour a type of fairly old school manager for us. But I totally get the positives around him. I came to the Northampton game having not been for ages, very curious to see what was going on. Good squad, good performance. We will be L1 for another season

If we can keep up this level of performance then people wonât have anything to be that critical of, yesterday was so much better in everything from performances on the pitch to positivity in the ground.. long may it continue.. and hopefully then Revs will silence the many doubters, myself included đ

First half I thought we were lucky to be level.
Stockport were very bright and pressed really well. They cut through our middle too easily too often.
Second half we upped our aggression and energy in midfield and got our wide players to help Louis and Harvey out, and it worked.
I've not seen much live bit I've watched plenty on the telly and thought that second half was as good as I've seen us for a good while.

Were we really lucky not to be losing at HT?
They may have controlled the game after their goal, but did they really threaten us and look like scoring? Cooper made a save and one shot was blocked (but the goal also shouldn't have gone), but I never felt threatened by them. Both sides had two shots on target and scored one goal in the first half, with identical xG if you are somebody who buys into it.

I think they had 2 good opportunities - 1 went over the top when they cut in from our right and the blocked shot. When I say I agree I was referring more to us being out fought in the midfield and the fact that we mitigated that in the second half and played really well. Never thought we were going to concede in the second half

Fair, but they looked better than us to me, and the ball spent more time in our final third than theirs. Hence I was relieved to be level.

This is a good summary, first half was the familiar problem of four front players and none of them having much influence outside the goal, second half was a cohesive team performance with everyone pitching in.

Although some of our performances have been awful to the eye, we are much improved.
When Revs took charge, even the doubters were prepared to give him time.
What else can you ask of the man, he's put life into this team after we lost Evans.
In fact, I would say he's been able to rejuvinate a team that sadly seemed to lose its way with the previous manager.
I'm so pleased for him, the team and us the fans.
