Started to get emails from anyone who replies to my posts Checked preferences and cannot see anything there to stop it re this,.Can you help please.Thanks
PS I also assume there is also no private chat option within this forum

There is a tickbox when you post an article that asks if you want to be emailed when you receive replies to that post. You must have ticked that. If you tell me which post it is emailing you replies from I can check to see if I can untick that for you (you cannot edit once a message has been replied to, but moderators are able to.

There is no DM function.

Okay, the box doesn't appear when editing.

I assume you accidentally ticked the box when posting a recent message, so what I would advise is that you reply to this message, untick the box that should appear when you compose said message, and it should then be unticked as default going forwards. Those already posted since you ticked it may continue to receive an email for any further replies, but if you do the above you should get any for future posts.
