Blame Game

To play devil's advocate, is this really all on Revs? This shit form isn't exclusive to him; it started under the Scotchman.
When are the players going to step up and accept a bit of responsibility.
The good news is that, if we're paying any goal bonuses this season, Phil's only had to pay about £20.

Can we sack all the players instead?

I’m not sure why people keep harping back about the end of last season. Yes it was poor. Evans had checked out, as had half the squad as a result.
Revs had the opportunity to recruit players and has had 5 months to implement a style and philosophy of his choice. To date, his saving grace is the remnants of a good defence.
Our performances and results this season have nothing to do with the end of last season. Revs is the gaffer. This is on him. I’m not sure he can do what is needed.

When people say things like ‘
Evans has checked out , as had half the squad as a result’ - I’m just amazed . Why would a group of men competitive and ambitious stop trying. Do you think it could be that we were over achieving at the start of the season. Never see a lack of effort at all , so completely disagree with that .

Don't dispute what you're saying.
There's a 'finger in air' approach to things at the moment. At least Gary Smith came out and said he couldn't put his finger on it. All we get from Revs is inane drivel about drive, determination and desire.
Doesn't come across on matchday though, does it.

It's like when we went down to non-league despite Evans' best efforts because it was too soon for him to turn around the dreadful inheritance he had.

I think it's the enjoyment value that is the problem. As we have always said, you except shit football if you are winning most of the time and it's effective.
The problem comes when you play shit football and your results are average or worse. This was the case in the closing stages of last season and have followed through to this one.
Revs was never going to get time from the fans if things started to turn sour, given his absolute car crash last time he was in charge.
