Took the game in our stride, never doubted the end result.
No point over doung it, risking more injuries.

Revs knows the squad being stretched thin requires us to have everyone at peak fitness so he made sure they'd get the extra half hour to keep their cardio up. Practice at pens in a real game situation. Everyone else is playing checkers.

F**k me! If anyone STILL stubbornly says Revell should be given more time, please do one.
I know we have loads of injuries but seriously! We’ve just played a team 6 leagues below us or something! People are paying money to watch these matches (including me on a few occasions).

Four, not six. For the sake of accuracy.
Northampton have just drawn 1-1 with Kettering, which is also League One at home to Step 3, as our game was. Currently in ET.
Not that either of the above make today remotely close to being acceptable.
Edit: Northampton now losing in ET!

There has been booing ay HT, FT and the end of the first half of ET.
Edit: And lots of people left at FT despite knowing it was going to ET. The Reading crowd is going to be bad. And this will be very toxic if we don't sneak through.

Guiseley should have scored three or four. They have created all the chances. Cooper has saved our bacon.
This has been utterly pathetic. And he made one change during the 90.

We are actually in an okay position in the league that if someone came in and was good we could be challenging for playoffs rather than our current trajectory towards relegation.
By Christmas it could be a case of just trying to survive.
Should be proactive not reactive.

Admittedly we have a bit of an injury crisis all of a sudden, but the lack of changes really suggests there's no plan B, and that's not a great sign of Revell's adaptability or flexibility. Either the likes of Aboh and Simpson are totally unfit or they're going to be wondering what they have to do to get on the pitch.

When all your defenders are injured you should go out and play expansive attacking football (direct) and score 5 goals, so it doesn't then matter if you conceded 4.
If we had won 5-4 people would be saying what a fantastic game it was, understandable conceding given the injury crisis. But sounds like we have gone out with our usual boring half arsed shit that creates nothing and then trying to keep a clean sheet with no defenders. Idiocy.

Can't say I disagree with that. When you mainly build a team around being good in defence and most of your starting defenders promptly get injured, you have to think about how you can make use of the rest of your team to make up for your comparative defensive frailty.
Trying to carry on regardless as if nothing has happened and just patch everything up smacks of a paucity of situational awareness and a severe lack of tactical adaptability.
