So, after the debacle last night I've had time to mull it over. Going forwards I want to see a 5-3-2 formation, in order to give us width, which would hopefully stretch the opposition defence. We are currently too narrow on the whole which makes life easier for defences and our job really hard when working in a congested part if the pitch. We need 2 out and out strikers up top. Saturday I would start as follows

Cooper

Luther Pidge Freestone

Smith Butler


Kemp King White


Reid Young

With instructions to Smith and Butler to get forward as much as possible
