Rotherham Line Up

So with the injuries and suspensions whats the back 4 going to look like? I hope we start both King & White in Midfield.

Without Luther its gonna be very iffy. He is key.
If he's fit he can partner Freestone. Butler LB and Smith RB.
If he's not Butler will.probably fill in at CB. So Freeman or List at LB one side and Smith the other.
I'm happy enough with List at FB, as long as the midfield gves him some back up.
Do teams man mark any more? Stick Freeman or Philips on Clarke-Harris for 90 minutes and they won't score from open play.

Clark-Harris is injured. My dog would make a better full back than List.
I wonder how much Evans bunged Tuesday's ref to book Pidge.

Agreed, based on what I saw at Mansfield towards the end of the game, I want List nowhere near that end of the pitch!

List has played there before and done OK.

Played there in 2019/20 when Luther was out. Didn't do any worse than the rest of the team, which was a low bar.

Maybe better to go with a back 3 with wing backs, if only got one genuine centre back.
Two of them would be Buttler and Freestone, and Wildin if available. If not maybe a youth or someone who has ever played in defence.
I realise that would mean possibly playing about 4 players out of position but may be less exposed as a unit.

Think I’d be tempted to still play a keeper at the back.

Cochrane is out on loan and near enough regular for Maidehead. Not even sure if we can recall but we do.not want to because of this.

King would be my best bet for cb on Saturday alongside Freestone .
Any new on injuries - Luther , Goode , Sweeney , Nathan - anyone have any ideas ?

Butler will possibly play CB and Freeman LB.
Im sure Butler has put in a shift for us at CB in the past but might be wrong.
Or Cuthbert. Genuinely.

Nathan T was a thigh strain so possibly back before end of month. No idea re Luther, but Sweeney and Goode January at the earliest.

Cuthbert out of retirement? Though I'd hope that would be very last resort.
I'd be inclined to sign a free-agent right-footed CB until January if the budget allows.

Him and Michael Hector would seem to be the standouts based on Transfermarkt.
