We offered nothing. A total embarrassment. I'll give every player 0 rating, except Pressley, I'll give him -5. He should never pull on a Boro shirt again. Revs got it totally wrong tonight.

Don’t know why he brought Pressley on. He was never going to beat the defence for pace & their CB won everything in the air. Freeman & List should’ve come on at halftime - try a bit of guile rather than just lumping it in the air.
Smith just isn’t good enough. I thought Phillips did ok in getting stuck in & Cooper kept us in the game but the rest of them were awful

Never seen him have a bad game personally.
Probably just choose Luther over him, but as a RB he's easily good enough for this level.

Nothing about last night was good enough, Kane included. In fact he, Roberts and Pidge each had arguably their worst ever game for us. It was such a car crash that 24 hours later I'm still trying to work out where a performance like that came from. Out-thought, out-fought, out-muscled and eventually outplayed by a desperate Cambridge side.

Reid was completely anonymous tonight. Lost count of how many passes went astray and when they did find their target we lost it immediately. Midfield was wrong from the start. We looked rattled in the first half and lacked any composure. Don't know why but Kemp seems unable to influence a game. And now we've lost Pidge to a suspension who the hell plays at the back?

We need to get Reid on the ball in and around the box more. He’s our most credible goal threat but is often tracking back or receives the ball too deep to be effective.

I feel like he’s been shifted wide in an attempt to shoehorn him and Young into the starting 11 together. That won’t work, he plays with his head down too much. They’re both strikers and should be played as such.
The game last night was very congested in the final third as they were content to sit deep. The answer was on the field, a 4-4-2, Kemp and Roberts on the flanks and Reid and Young up front. Stretch the game to make gaps between the defenders for Reid and Young to exploit.
Pressley put a shift in when he came on in his defence but he was on a hiding to nothing against that back line and with the way we were trying to break through it.
