Guiseley confirmed for 3pm on the Satdi.
£20 adults, £18 concessions in the seats. £14 and £12 in the terrace.
Seems rather steep for a game against a Northern Prem side. We obviously don't fancy encouraging a large crowd for it.

Assume they agreed to prices But assume even if they drop prices by say a third there would not be a mass uptake, so I agree with you

Northampton vs Kettering is a shit selection.
Had it been at Kettering, sure, but a League One side at home to a Southern Prem side, four levels below, is very likely to be a poor viewing spectacle for the neutral (and neither side will bring in the viewing figures) and highly unlikely to see an upset, even if it is a local derby.
Birmingham and Wrexham being on are absolutely classic ITV selections. At least they are both away at sides below them, but ITV never care about picking matches that are likely to see an upset, or that can promote any remaining magic of the cup, they just pick Wrexham/Leeds/ManUtd every time regardless of if they think it will end 5-0 and be a dull game.
BLEURGH.

Yeah they did well to stay in the National League for a couple of seasons. It's quite a nice area, in Leeds but on the Leeds/Bradford border

Guiseley is a Leeds postcode and is therefore acceptable.
Don't ever bring the B-word into the equation. For that is one of the UK's biggest shitholes. After Biggleswade.
And no, still upset we're at home.

I've been watching us since about 1994. I've not really that bothered by them anymore, there are at least 10 other sides I'd rather beat.
Plus that way we might get them in the next round!

Along with three or four others who informed the previous manager they didn't want to play and risk repeating previous joint injuries as they do when playing on an artiticial pitch, but were told by said manager that he didn't care and they were playing anyway (they were not wise enough to "forget" their boots that day) which led to fallings out and training ground issues.
Strange our season fell apart after Maidstone last season.

I'm seriousness, I recall Evans saying in an interview that some players weren't available due to the pitch. Butle being the main one.
It's just how that all came about and the falling outs where Evans didn't share.
I'm sure Evans would tell us he let the players not play who had injury fears, whereas the story from Butler's side is he didn't bring his boots etc so couldn't be played.

Six of one, half a dozen of the other I guess.
The squad of the last few seasons seem on the whole a bunch of good eggs, not like they’d not want to play without good reason. Putting players out there whose hearts aren’t in it is just silly. Risks injuries and unrest behind the scenes

But take that risk and we might win at Ipswich and do the cup run? I hate to disagree with you, because in many ways you are my protoge, and you have learned much from me and I would hate for there to be a fracture between us. But I can empathise with Big Steve’s irritation on this one

Re: FA cup draw

On the flip side, had he listened to his players who were clearly very unhappy playing on an artificial pitch, and played those who were happy to do so, we may have played much better, won, and then had said cup run.
This isn't just players not fancying a game, or being lazy shits, this is players who have given very good performances for the club, not wanting to risk long-term injury based on injuries they have previously had which are worsened, or at greater risk, by playing on artificial pitches, which are widely known to increase said risk.
