An unsung hero
Views: 1560
I've not seen as many games as I would like to have this season, but surely one unsung hero must be Cooper in goal.
I'm sure most of us were worried when Taye was out injured, given his match saving ability between the sticks. However, this young lad seems to have hit the ground running and seems both competent and confident. It looks like it's going to be hard for Taye to get his place back, at least in the short term.

Murphy continues to impress! Love the way he 'manages' the game - even in front of the away fans. Slows it down when needed. Distributes quickly when needed. Pretty faultless so far, tbqh.
Great signing.

Three kicks have gone straight to their keeper, but otherwise he's been excellent (although he could have brought a chair for large parts of tonight).

When is his loan up? Jan or full season?

I agree, but cannot actually really remember him making a save, such is our dominance defensively.
Our best ever start to an EFL campaign, at the back.
Edit: Only six GKs have more clean sheets for the club in the EFL than Cooper. He has played eight games.

Get the feeling he organises/ works really well with the back four, which probably helps limit shots on goal , especially when Sweeney isn't there to fuck everything up!

Needs one of them to go in to equal with Jesse Joronen for goals scored.
