In what respect did he get "all the subs wrong"?
One was forced. Out of the 5 subs left which different 4 would you have picked from the 4 Revs used?
The maths don't math.

I assume you haven't watched many games down the years then?
I remember people saying they didn't see where any points where coming from in the next couple of months before the Barnsley game too.

Totally agree, sitting on the train home and we have just been discussing this.
Feel for the fans who are going to travel to Wigan on Tuesday, if they have to witness another ninety minutes like that.

Hats off to all those who travelled to Exeter. It shows how faithful you all are to our club. You are brilliant!
I'm sitting on the fence here, (sometimes I wish I didn't...those splinters!), we have had much worse displays away and certainly at home. The period between Revell 1 and Evans was awful. Even under Evans most matches were not Barcelona under lights but pretty average with the right result.
If the result today was reversed but with the same standard of football, we wouldn't be having this conversation.
Give Revs a chance to get this team firing on all cylinders.

Good point but I fear Revs is out of his depth especially in a tough league 1 campaign! Said it all along you need an experienced manager especially at this level

2 of the managers of the three clubs promoted from league one last year were in their first season as a manager in the UK. The other one was their second job, having got Rotherham promoted 3 times from league one in their first job

Sorry but at least under big Steve our players showed a bit of fight! We had nothing today, all 123 of us who travelled tried to encourage them but when players don’t look like they are bothered to play they shouldn’t be playing. I will credit Revell if he drops certain players from the team, especially the midfield who were all extremely disappointing
I don’t care how we win, as long as we do. We know we aren’t going to be a Barcelona, however todays performance was abysmal, pointless long balls and very similar to second half of last season where we had 1 plan and when we got found out we were screwed!

King and White were brilliant in the previous game, so you cannot possibly blame the manager for starting them today! Any manager would have.

I don’t blame him for starting them, but they should’ve been gone by half time latest, appalling and we looked a little better when Phillips came on.

Imagine if he'd have dropped them and brought Dan and Louis back in. People would be saying are you mad?
Think it's a case of dammed if you do and dammed if you don't .
Ultimately the players were shite yesterday bar maybe 3. But that happens.
Sure We'll see changes Tues

Gary Rowett was our first pick, sadly we’ve now got Revell who seems to be making the same mistakes as last time, and employing Scott Cuthbert as a first team coach. Someone who has no experience or warranty being given such position

I watched Cuthbert coaching a trio of 8 year old.on a park in Baldock for £20 a head about 18 months or 2 years ago.
He was brilliant with them kids.
I'm guessing we either didn't pay much h or it was part of a module for their A licence portfolio.

Evans was at Gillingham - a club in League 2 with a lot of boardroom problems. No wonder he wanted a sideways move at the time

I disagree, he was league one with Gillingham, and we wouldn’t have been the only club enquiring after him, proves when wallet feels like it, he pays the money for someone properly qualified

Sadly when he speaks, he mentions ambitions of pushing for the championship and when we employ a manager who has no experience at this level, and failed at the level below, we won’t be fighting for anything but to stay up. Wallet has done very well to keep us financially stable however he needs to put his money where his mouth is!

There's absolutely zero chance the club, at this moment in time, could sustain Championship football. The jump is costs to compete would be absolutely massive. We are punching a bit above our weight as it is.

We are a League Two level club. Which is better than 20 years ago when we conference level club.
League One is always going to be tough for us, Championship would be an amazing once in a lifetime achievement, unless we had serious external investment.
Wallace has kept the club going for years, made us relatively sustainable (for a football club) and brought us a lot of success and good times.

His hiring of managers has mostly been shocking, but any criticism of him for his financial control of the club is wrong IMO.
And I honestly don't think a lot of it is him taking the cheap option, it is him taking the safe option in terms of internal people he has worked with and knows (and trusts).
Look at all the players we have spent money on the past couple of years. If he was being cheap he wouldn't be doing that.

This is the key point. I was disappointed with Revs appointment. But Wallace has once again been brilliant. He doesn’t know a manager from his elbow, but we have a brilliant squad. It will be mid table I reckon, as it should be.
The people starting threads tonight are utter utter Woking level filth. The club will never be Championship, beyond a one season Yeovil Town joke. So what do we do!??? God knows!!! Existential crisis time….
