"Retro" shirt

Since when did 2011 become retro!

I think have that particular shirt with Megaman energy saving lightbulbs on, as we changed sponsor but not shirt one season.

Interesting, I never knew the 2009/2010 and 2010/2011 home kit templates were the same until I had a look just now.

Also just assumed that LCN and Serverchoice were unrelated but google says they’re located in the same place in Stevenage.

Remember the conference winning and first league season shirts being the same aside from the sponsor.

Would have thought the conference winning shirt would be more popular as a retro purchase. Probably something to do with being able to put LCN on the shirt rather than Megaman.

This season’s shirt is very good. I know a couple of people on here aren’t keen on it, but the majority of fans love it. It will become a retro classic.

Personally I think Macron’s (not the French president) kits have been great. Some lovely away kits last few seasons.

Unlike Puma from 2011-2013 where we had really dull and boring shirts with nothing happening at all.

The sleeves on the Puma ones were ridiculously long too.

I have the away shirt which I like.

Looking at all past shirts there are only about 5 home shirts I like but almost all the away shirts I like.

I get the impression that retro shirts are currently the "In thing" although definitely wouldn't class this as retro !

Interesting commercial decision this one. Are the youth calling out for 2010s footy merch? I understand 90s etc, but it doesn't feel that long ago.

First player that comes to mind for this shirt is Charlie Griffin for me. Not sure why.

Talking of shirts, this is a nice catalogue of shirts

https://www.stevenagefootballarchive.com/museum-kits.php

The LCN logo looks pinker on the original.

Although I don't mind Macron, this highlights that they've produced some stinkers

The next kit we should have is one similar to the 2002/04 home one.
