What was that???????
So negative, no chances.
Any chances made were hit straight at the keeper. Why so many over hit crosses? Can anybody score?
So many questions and so little answers.
This is how Revell plays and has proved it before. Confused why he was given the job.
Roberts and Simpson not good enough, list made no impact, Sweeney shakey again.
Need changes.
Cheers,

Revs Ball is negative and pretty boring. What I’ve seen so far is nothing different to his first spell as manager.
I’ve seen people on social media celebrate Steve Evans Rotherham have a tough start to the season. Strange considering what a brilliant job he done at this club.
People will view Revs though with rose tinted glasses as a former player, former manager and a top man who’s been at this club in various guises.

Equally those who don't want him in the job will view through their "rose" tinted specs too, its human nature to enforce your own opinions

People who think he's the wrong choice will look to amplify any poor performance to back up their opinion.
Those who wanted him to get the job will look for evidence he has improved since last time.
The rest of us will remain cautiously optimistic or mildly pessimistic.

I wouldn't say we were negative yesterday at burton. In the last half an hour we were the only team that was going to win, if any. And AR replaced a midfielder with a striker, so he certainly wanted to win. The fact Simpson offers nothing up top is a problem, and the fact we have only one creative, attacking midfielder in Kemp. When we get in wide positions the crossing is abysmal. Time and time again we overhit crosses, way too deep to cause problems. Basically this is the difference between a top 6 team and us, having that bit of composure in the final third. I thought the defence played well overall, and in particular Smithy. Pidge's distribution for the most part was very poor, with wildly over hit passes. Roberts offers very little. We definitely MUST start with Appere up top against Lincoln. Unless the chairman finds £5m under his pillow this isn't going to change an awful lot. We are a small club batting above our weight.

White and Kemp had the fewest touches of any player on our team yesterday, and those are potentially the two most creative.
Our crosses are all from in front of the 18 year box curling towards goal, which to me aren't proper crosses and rarely cause any problems for the opposition. We should be getting to the by line and crossing balls in front there. Rarely did we do that but when we do it causes defenders problems.

Re: RevBall

Didn't realise that about the touches.
The fact Kemp still.looked our most dangerous player says a lot.
Revs has to find a way to feed him the ball more.
White only played a bit of the game so more understandable, and I'd expect to see more of him at home than away as he builds experience.

Four points from three games with two clean sheets, two of those three games being away.
Three clean sheets in five games across all competitions.
Scored in four of five games.
Won three home matches on the spin under Revs.
My bed remains shit free for now, thanks.

Three games in and we’re only three points above the relegation zone. It’s totally unacceptable. Man the lifeboats.

I wasn't for the reappointment of Revell. However, it seems stupidly early to throw toys out of the pram. 1 win, 1 draw and 1 loss.
At least give it until the clocks go back to a) turn your heating on and b) hang Revell out to dry.

It was more than a bit shit. Poor game, tiny crowd and I bloody hate 12.30 kick-offs.
Like (almost) all of us of here I really wish Revs well, but his post match interview was verging on delusional.
Does anybody else think we really should have seven points by now? We created next to nothing despite his claim we had 'lots' of shots on target. This is a decent squad, but at the moment we are not seeing it to best effect.

It is a decent squad , probably the strongest we have ever had - for us . I suppose the problem is that the other teams in our league have also assembled decent squads . We were the team most likely to score in the second half and looked solid at the back . This is the only game this season we have not scored and have created chances in every game / good chances - missed penalty, List at Huddersfield. We scored 3 away to Norwich and have 2 out of 3 ( in the league ) and 3 out of 5 ( all competitions) clean sheets .
It’s a good solid, promising start to the season. Well it is unless people are thinking we should be on 9 points with a +10 goal difference and won away to Norwich .
I’d say to the moaners - alter your expectations, get behind the team , oh and stop fucking moaning .

Watch yourself back on video.
It's cringey but it kills annoying physical ticks and comfort words really quickly.
How he presents on camera is really key to how he is perceived. Especially so if he wants to move up the divisions.

Yes, but they were tame shots from 20 yards never even troubling the keeper and if anything a sign that we had no idea how to create a proper chance so resorted to just taking pot shots outside the box which Burton would've been more than happy for us to do.

Sweeney with another clean sheet. Made one mistake early first half (and Pidge kicked it straight to their player instead of anywhere but no one criticises that mistake), made some important interceptions. Restricted Burton to one chance when they got behind Butler. Had our best chance (header).

So play it short to Louis or Harvey in CM. Or to Butler to his left.
(Not Sweenz obv, he'll just lump it anyway).
One of them should be showing most of the time
