Evans Charged
Views: 1994
Is he thick? Does he do it on purpose?
Cannot get my head around why he continuously gets charged, by this point he knows exactly what will get him charged yet he does it anyway.
Clubs must go crazy with him.
Glad this nonsense is over.
Enough said.
Cheers,

Deffo glad to see the back of him. Players are no doubt pleased too. It's easier to do rondos and compare tatts with a manager. It's howwid when he shouts at you.

Joint best manger we ever had. I think he does it to take attention away from his team when they lose.

Cloughie, Westley, Stimmo and Brian Williams all have a higher win rate.
Cloughie, Westley and Stimmo all won trophies.

Would say Cloughie and Westley are the benchmark. Both well ahead of Evans. Stimmo on par for winning something.
Evans could have built something of a legacy here but chose not to. The shine was coming off before he left arguably.

Evans won a trophy.
(Since they began giving an actual trophy for league two runners up)

So did Derek Montgomery and I think Brian Williams won the TSI Cup when manager.

He gets sanctioned for things others get away with due to his reputation.
Why did Revs get booked on Saturday?

Woke FA protecting their woke fourth official who is unable to take the slightest criticism.
Can't even speak to them anymore.

I love how often suggestions that we should progress as a civilization are criticized as "woke".
Football has a chronic lack of respect for officials. It's a huge downside of the sport that isn't really seen in many other sports.
Football referees aren't very good. But screaming at them isn't really the answer. We need to be demanding a better standard of refereeing and revision of the rules in a meaningful and impactful way.
But back to the original point... improvement requires introspection, and the ability to adjust your behaviour... but, of course, it's much easier to just label it as "woke" and criticize everyone else for being soft.

It is often deserved, refs are very poor and make mistakes far too often.
Evans is stupid to get caught, but the officials shouldn't be wrapped in cotton wool.

Revs got booked due to associated past reputation with Evans , to ensure he stands still from now onwards . Club will get an email apparently rescinding it.
