Yep supported by the Quo and Belouis Some IIRC. I was 12 and tucked in to a bottle of Kestral lager. It don’t really remember the gig apart from the big numbers.
However Knebworth 1990 Nordoff Robins gig, is still my greatest gig ever.
Page/Plant, Clapton, straits, McCartney and Pink floyd to name but a few

I was there. Don’t forget Big Country!
It was a warm day. Belouis Some only did a couple of songs before he got bottled - a sea of bottles flew at him for ages before the promoter came on stage to ask everyone to stop! Belouis Some didn’t return.
Big Country were brilliant, as were Status Quo but Queen were incredible. I’m so pleased I went & boast about it regularly!

I was there and forgot they were there at all.
No memory of McCartney actually playing either, although I did manage to see him walking into the artists bar.

Worked backstage at the Phil Collins charity gig, the Hard Rock Cafe was chock full of celebrities.
Think the poster is still up at Hitchin train station.
Also worked Robbie Williams and the really shit Ministry of Sound/Jamiroquai one that lost a ton of money.

I knew what the break even ticket sales number was.
And I knew the actual and the paid attendance.
The guest list and free pass list was massive, absolutely stupidly big.

Didn't get to Queen, but I'm old enough to have been to Led Zeppelin in 1979 (which was fantastic)
As a Letchworth resident at the time, we had to buy our tickets from David's Bookshop - priced at £7.50
Happy days!

We listened to Queen in the back garden, more crowd noise than anything else really. I went to the Oasis gig, and walked home to the Old Town afterwards. Distinct lack of beer opportunities during and after that.

I was there. Queen, Oasis, Robbie Williams. My best mate (still) made the most incredible joke about Mercury’s health and was 100% correct long before we knew anything for sure. He regrets it now.
