Fair play for Listy getting it, but it think Kemp and Phillips were much betterer.

I was impressed by Phillips, breaking up play. Back 3 look solid. Zero creativity in midfield still.
Simpson needs to get stuck in a bit more. And that penalty miss was woeful.

If Simpson gets too “stuck in “ he will kill somebody.

Harvey White got the most praise from the opposition commentators.

He was the most disappointing for me. Set pieces were poor.
Clearly got ability in there but beeds to be more consistent with it. Perhaps I am holding him to a higher standard than the others.

Which made Saturday all the more frustrating.
With Pidge, Sweeney, Goode, Appere etc. we will be dangerous from every set-piece if a good delivery is put in. Today they have been spot on and we have scored twice from them.

I didn’t think the delivery itself was too bad but was definitely some miscommunication between what he and pidge wanted both wanted. They had words a few times. So definitely does need work but was decent

I thought the delivery was generally poor. Improved as the game went on.

I was pleased to see what an absolute wardrobe he is - not quite an Akinfenwa, but a solid piece of furniture nonetheless. Big strong and physical. But I thought his play was immense, all over the pitch with strong runs and tackles, a real influence on the game.

Agreed. Potentially upwardly mobile, I suspect. Kemp brought lots of energy and will add goals (though possible not from the penalty spot). There was lots to like about the new arrivals, though Freestone is no left back. Cover still needed there.
