Evans' Rotherham lose 1-0 to Exeter
Cambridge lose 2-0 to newly promoted Stockport.
TVC loses 2-3 on his home debut for Burton
Barnet lose to Halifax in the National League. Woking lose to Alty too.

Aside from against us, do people generally want him to do quite well at Rovrum or fail miserably and be gone by January?
I'm in the latter camp because I'm petty.

Charged with misconduct after game one.
Questioning the integrity of an official.
Don't miss that.

Missed eight matches suspended for us last season.
With the additional expectation and pressure at Rotherham he could top that. Off to a good start.
(We won't mention that Revs got booked against Shrewsbury).

Good idea for a sweepstake that.

Do you think Evans missing will effect them as much if he replicates this given the bigger and possible "better squad ?".PS Rayner normally is not far behind with the cards as well.

If we could have GW four fucking times I'm not closing myself off to the possibility we get Evans back if he throws a strop or they get fed up of him at Rotherham or elsewhere

He was great for us, and over time will probably be considered a club legend. One of the best managers we ever had.
That doesn't mean we won't jeer him when the 4th official inevitably gives him a yellow card. It's all part of the pantomime.
So - want him to do well, but against us hope they lose 5-0.

Would be quite something if the fourth official gives him a yellow card 👀

I’ll keep half an eye on their results as they’re in our league and it’s a bit of a sub plot. But can’t say I’m invested in if they (and/or Evans) do well or not otherwise.

I genuinely like the guy and would always wish him well, but in this particular case I’d find it hard not to enjoy a bit of schadenfreude if he cocked up and got an early P45.

Want them to be promoted because I backed it the second the odds went up in the summer, before they massively shortened as the summer went on.
Edit: Which could still happen after he got sacked, so don't care either way if they go up.

No feelings what so ever for him though it will be interesting to see if he still slags off the officials in his interviews.
Actually good to hear Revs interview without any of that.

Evans refused to shake hands at the end of the game while lamenting about a 9 hour coach journey on Friday??
While Revs got booked for 🤣🤣🤣 us

I don't really care what Rotherham do, to be honest. They don't feel like a rival, so whatever

I have no I'll feeling towards him.
I'll probably dislike his antics on the touchline against us but otherwise he was always complimentary about Stevenage, genuinely seemed to like being here and did a fantastic job in turning our fortunes around.
And away from the pitch he actually seems quite nice.

Exactly that,I think when he comes to us we should give him a respectful round of applause when he appears given what he did for us keeping us in the EFL and getting us promoted ….but when the game starts the gloves are off!
I think that’s fair enough don’t you ?

Aye.
Would absolutely love Revs to do the double over him though. Would be huge for Revs if nothing else, and I bloody love Revs.
