Comfortably the better side and fully deserved the victory, which should have been by more.
Plenty of positives and signs of progress, that given a few more weeks could have us looking very good going forward. Probably had more passes in midfield today than in Evans' entire reign with us.
Cooper looked very sharp and saved us wonderfully in the first half. Simpson was as good as I hoped. They stood out for me. Phillips also very good. List looked a totally different player, especially second half. I love Freeman and thought he was fantastic after coming on, really hope he plays lots this season.
By far the biggest disappointment (excluding the penalty miss) was Harvey's set pieces, 95% of which were well overhit. He was very involved though and got well stuck in. Freestone is not a LB, but bar the one incident in the first half did well covering for Butler, but I don't want him there regularly and hope Butler is back soon (suspended today, but hasn't featured since the first PSF). Dunno how we keep all the CBs happy though as Pidge is Pidge, and Sweeney was very dominant today. Freestone and Goode haven't signed to sit on the bench.
Very pleased we didn't sit back on the lead and that we continued to push for another goal until the final whistle. Which we should have got. And absolutely delighted for Revs.
Very content with that opening showing, albeit against a very poor side. Looking forward to heading to Norwich on Tuesday.

Yes, you can tell he’s gotten better educated than most people who visit The Lamex.

If I had attended, I'd have not asked Chuds for his thoughts on the game, Sir.
I won't be attending this season.

He could be blind, like that blind guy was.

He wasn’t blind. He just couldn’t see very well.

Now that I have glasses I could sit in the North Stand and might be able to see the action at the other end of the pitch.
