They clearly didn't understand the second tweet, which was self deprecating, saying let's make it all about Stevenage, in the way Liverpool fans find a way to make everything about them.
That then explains the nature of the first tweet, not a swipe at Watkins but a way to use Watkins in an image about Stevenage riding on the back of him being the nations hero that night.
Idiots.

The follow up tweet put out by Stevenage admin was clearly having a dig at himself for making about Stevenage. I don't really get the article saying it was a 'swipe at Watkins' when it was just saying that it was any excuse to revisit the cup upset
