6 Tuesday night games and somehow they've done both Wrexham and both Cambridge games as those!

Thinking about it what a place to go for a final away day fixture.
Can see them fighting for an automatic place/the title right up to the last day.
We'll be fighting for survival or playoffs.
As someone else corrected me a few months back, we don't do boring mid-table seasons.
Could be an absolute classic final day.

Blackpool in December = no rollercoasters. Boooo
At least Tuesday night in Wrexham eliminates the chance of me taking an almost certainly miserable train ride there.

Well we'll at least get the Christmas lights to cheer us up.
And it couldn't possibly be colder than last season's trip there... could it?
That downpour before the game, whilst more hungover than I've been in years, then watching us get pumped 3-0...
Days like that make me love football in a way that only Stockholm Syndrome can.

That happens every season, that the same side is faced home and away midweek, it isn't accidental.

The Cambridge game makes sense on a Tues night. The Wrexham one less so! Only 40 mins down the road for me though 😜

The EFL intentionally often gives longer trips midweek as they believe many fans who would make the trip on a Saturday also would midweek, and they want the more local games to be weekends to maximise attendances for the clubs, and enable kids to go.
Wrexham is a bit annoying personally as I somehow haven't done it before so that is one of only two (along with Brum as I am too young to have done it originally) new grounds for me, so annual leave it will be. Cambridge away is my birthday game, how exciting.

Yeah I can see the logic of that to be fair!

May well even be intentional that both Cambridge games are midweek rather than weekend after the pockets of trouble last season.

I was down at Wrexham when we played them in their first conference season, and got thrashed by them.
I had been hoping to get down from Scotland with a couple of mates who are all interested because... deep sigh... it's Wrexham.
Ah well at least Birmingham away is on a Saturday.

With Barnsley away a few days before that's a lot of travelling for the players.

All games moved in order to all be shown owing to the 3pm blackout. The final day will be the same.
