We should build a team around Pidge, Phillips and Appéré.

That's the solid spine.

We won't find a 20 goal a season striker so the next important thing is to get a strong midfield. The great sides always have a top quality midfield 4.

Yet we barely have a midfield. It's like an afterthought with all these other made up positions instead.
