It is a shitty industry with all the cards stacked in the house's favour, with a regulator that is as useful as OFWAT/OFGEM are.

In my view if a bookie offers a market, anybody should be able to put on as much as they like, without being restricted or banned by the bookie (unless you are suspected of illegal activity, or self-exclude). Any restrictions put on a promotion or market should apply to all customers or none, so a price boost for instance should carry a max bet of a tenner for all, not 50 quid for some and 10p for others, if they can even place it at all.

I daresay some would liken it to a landlord being able to bar people from their pub, but are they able to just do that on a whim or must there be actual reason? I dunno.
