Ok, here’s my updated thoughts.

I expected we’d do well tonight on that lineup, but they didn’t exactly set the world on fire. With the red card I thought we’d actually do something to win, but by the time we’d got to about 85 minutes it was clear to me that my earlier optimism had been misplaced - we can’t score against, much less beat, 10 men, at home with all four of our goal threats on the pitch. Boring, invention-less, headless football that from all the side-to-side football looked like Revs was playing for a 0-0 draw. At 88 mins I was in despair and was beginning to wonder who in this league we were ever actually going to win against.

The hilarious irony is that when we finally did get round to doing a couple of goals, it was while Revs wasn’t actually there to instruct the team! Tells you everything really. Doubly funny is the fact that I hadn’t even realised Revs had been sent off at HT until I saw it on facebook a few minutes ago!
