Part of giving someone a chance is that you have to give them that chance. Five games isn’t enough, nor will eight be.

I was very disappointed when Revs was hired again but I support the club. I want us to do well. It had nothing to do with him as a person, just our previous experience under his management.

In my mind he was given a clean slate in terms of being judged on his performance this time around. Sadly, quite a large section of our fans would rather be toxic “I told you so” merchants who are seemingly willing him (and therefore the club) to fail so they can say they were right.

Results and performances are no worse than they were towards the end of Evans’ tenure. Days before he left there were fans of this club discussing if he was our best manager ever (no, btw, not close). I understand there’s no need for blind optimism but let’s give Revs an actual fighting chance rather than the pathetic crap that’s being spouted at the moment.
