We have lost all identity as a playing squad. Either we go down the route one system, or decide we want to play football. At the moment we are not one or the other. Defensively we are fine, but other than that we are a mess. Theres no creativity in midfield. We pass it around for a minute at the back, then decide 'oh well, lets just hoof it up front'. Ive seen 3 games this season, and am still waiting to see Simpson actually win an aerial duel. Roberts is the only one that wins any headers. There's a clear reason why Huddersfield let him go. We never get enough bodies in the box when we do get into the final third. The crossing is normally woeful, we either over hit them, or hit the first defender. From what I've seen over last season, and so far this season, is that there aren't a lot of good teams. They are all very similar in quality i.e poor. AR needs to get a playing style sorted ASAP, and needs to get our strikers scoring. At the moment it just looks like we are trying to win every game 1-0 with a set piece, because thats the only time we get bodies forward in enough numbers.
