You worry we'll try and play it out from the back and do tikka takka keep ball?

If we do it'll.last about 5 minutes before Pidge says "fuck this, get it out of my half of the pitch"

As for Chuds view that a pressing style can be maintained for 90 minutes through clever use of subs I disagree viz;

An effective press requires a high level of coordination across the front 5/6. Rotation and replacement of members of that group reduces the levels of understanding and coordination, which makes the press harder to maintain.

And a press.is only effective if you do something with the turned over ball. We dont do that bit very well, and will do it less well with second choice players (subs) coming into play.

All that being said, pressing in phases and short spells and being aggressive *is* what we do best, so we have to hope it works.
