I actually think that is easier to say when you don't attend many games, despite the fact it may seem it should be the other way around.

Watching football on TV is dogshit, it simply serves a means if unable/unwilling to go to the game as you can still watch your team. But I hate it. It is not the same. It is boring. And not just us either. So if watching that way you need to at least have entertaining stuff on show. And you feel more distanced and more disassociated from your team, so winning doesn't feel as important. I am never as into it when watching on the TV, goals for or against are mostly "meh", and my annoyance or delight pretty much ends as soon as I turn it off, as opposed to staying for some time after the final whistle if having been at the game. Part of that being the whole match-going routines we all have.

Whereas if live at the game and going to every home game, I am absolutely in it, every goal and decision and every result gets you fully going, your team winning is the most important part. Good football is secondary to the result. And playing sides like Charlton and Huddersfield and Birmingham most weeks in L1 is infinitely better than playing Accrington and Morecambe and the like in L2. So results and L1 status is the main objective.

And ultimately, our home form (where most of our fans attend games) has been very decent, and it isn't like most of the home games have been shit either, so we aren't even talking about being awful but getting some results, as we haven't been awful, there has been plenty of enjoyable stuff. We have had good wins against top sides in Wrexham, Charlton and Stockport. We have had comprehensive wins against Barnsley, Bristol Rovers and Exeter. We have nine wins from 20 home games, so basically won every other game. It really hasn't been at all bad.
