I didn't see yesterday's game; I'm glad the first half was so much better. It doesn't change anything, alas, as far as the manager is concerned. You said yourself further down how negative the substitutions were. I hate to bang on about Young and Kemp, but they took League Two defences apart in the first half of last season. Watch the bloody video, Revs, then watch it again, and then explain why it has taken you so long to work them out.
I disagree with your contention that nearly all clubs in League One have improved their squads from last season. Peterborough and Blackpool fans would disagree for a start. However, I do think we have significantly improved ours, despite Freestone (waste of money) and Simpson (waste of space). What doesn't improve is the performance of the manager.
