Played well as in opened them up and created a host of good chances, and dominated them for sustained periods.

We had considerably more possession but were camped in their half and making use of it, not just passing about sideways in our own half.

It was totally different to what it has been for months. I would probably say it was better than Peterborough away in the league, in terms of quality of play, attacking threat and chances created. We failed to convert them again, but at least created plenty, which we haven't done in a long time. Play like that and goals, then results, will come.

Edit: But as I said in my HT post, we have to play like that. If we revert to aimless hoofing on Tuesday then it has all been a waste of time and we won't do anything.

Edit 2: If the highlights show the diagonal ball (don't remember who played it, maybe Roberts) to Young, who controlled masterfully and laid it across for Kemp, who forced Pym into a double-save, or the ball to Kemp who flicked it back to Young before he shot over, I challenge anybody to watch those moves, attacking with pace and purpose, who wouldn't want to watch football like that regularly. It was lovely.
