What is the difference between the following 2 incidents:-

1 - Carl Piergianni - used his shoulder / elbow on a Peterboro striker, neither the ref or linesman saw it, but the Sky cameras did as well as the Peterboro manager - Answerable to the FA Disciplinary Panel - Post Match got 3 match ban

2 - Spurs game v Nottm Forest - Maddison lost composure and punched Yates in the stomach, sending him to the floor. Caught on TV by the pundits as well, not referred to the VAR. So will this incident by referred to the FA Disciplinary like Carl Piergianni, will this incident just disappear.

we need to ensure all these incidents get punished in a common way

Or is it a case its Stevenage so should get punished but the rest of the league don't ?????
